This site is built to need as little of your data as possible.
What stays on your device
- The verse finder and the random verse tool run entirely in your browser. Words you type there are never sent to us or to anyone else.
- Verse cards are drawn on your device. The image never leaves your browser.
What the site collects
- Standard, anonymised traffic analytics (page views, approximate region, browser type) so we know which pages are useful. No advertising or cross-site tracking profiles.
- No accounts. There is no sign-up, so there are no user profiles, no email lists, and no passwords.
Cookies
The site sets no advertising cookies. Analytics may set a single cookie or use local storage to distinguish visits; you can block it without losing any feature.
Third-party pages
We link to SuttaCentral and Wikimedia Commons for sources and image credits. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date above will change with it.
